We decided we should go for a drive labor day week-end and ended up in Denver. It was a good thing we took a bag with us. We really didnt know where we were going to end up. We are remodling our kitchen, so we went to Home Depot and got a few things, had a nice dinner and spent the night. On our way we went through Steamboat Springs, to Kremmling, and then down to I-70 just before the eisenhower tunnel. It was a beautiful drive. Country that we hadnt seen before. We came home on I-70 through Glenwood Springs, Rifle and on home. In Steamboat Springs we saw this Dinosauer.
This was a beauti9ful lake right out of steamboat.
Eisenhower tunnel. It is almost 2 miles long.
We saw some beautiful country and one of the prettiest canyons was Glenwood canyon.
This next picture is of the Taylor Draw Dam. Hank helped build it about 25 years ago.
