OUR LITTLE HAM

Brandi, Eric, and our Great Grandbaby came down the other day and spent the afternoon with me and stayed for dinner. I hadnt seen our baby for a week or so, so I was happy to have them come down. I cannot tell you how cute and lovable this baby is, and he is becoming quite a ham.Every time I would talk to him he would crinkle up his face and close his eyes and really give me a big smile. We went out on the lawn for a little while and he had fun crawling all over. He is about the cutest baby I ve seen in a long time. Of coarse I am sure every Grandmother feels the same way about their own Grandchild.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

A few years ago when we went from Las Vagas to Albuquerque, we bought some Indian pottery. Hank wanted to get some more so when he had a few days off for Memorial day we decided to go. The only thing was, we couldnt quite remember just where the place was. We knew it was between Flagstaff Arizona and Albuquerque. So we decided to go to Flagstaff and then over to Albuquerque so we wouldnt miss the place. We decided to go a different way this time to see some new country. We went to Hanksville and then down Glen Canyon and then on to Mexican Hat. We saw some really beautiful country,We stopped at this store in Hanksville that is built in the side of the mountain.
Heres a couple of pictures going down the canyon and then when we got to the green river before we crossed the Glen Canyon Bridge.

After we crossed the river we came to this rock called Jacobs Chair, I thought of my Grandson and thought he would get a kick out of it.
Next we came to The Natural Bridges Park and decided to stop. We had to do some walking but saw some beautiful things.

We spent that night in Flagstaff. The next morning we headed east and finally found the place we were looking for, We bought some beautiful pottery.

We went on and stopped at the Route 66 casino to see a car show and then on to Albuquerque where we spent the night. We went to the Sandia Casino for a while. Had a nice dinner, and the next morning we got up early and headed home. It was a fast three days but fun.
