More Babies

Well as you all know our cat had 6 kittens last April. We were going to take her in and have her fixed but when I called the vet he said we had to wait until she dried up from nursing her babies. As soon as the kittens were old enough we booted them outside, where they love being and we were going to keep momma in on the porch until we could get her in but one night she somehow got out and spent the night outside. Needless to say we now have 9 new kittens. She is a baby making machine. This time we are really going to have to be vigilent about keeping her in.We live out in the country and wanted the last batch of kittens because we dont want any mice but 9 more is a little bit much. Looks like we are going to be looking for some good homes that would love a cute cuddly little kitten.

Our new toy

We have been wanting a fifth wheel trailer for a while now but just hadnt found one that we liked for the right price.Well, that has changed. We found one in Winnemucca, Nv. that we really couldnt pass up. The price was so good that we didnt even mind going all that way to pick it up, plus we got to see family. Its used, but the little couple that had it used it only once. The wife got sick and they havent been able to use it again. Im really sorry about that but they made us a really good deal. My husband also got to see his niece that he hadnt seen in about three years. Now that we have our fifth wheel and I can get my husband to retire, we may become snow birds in the winter. Wouldnt that be fun? Power washing the fifth wheel

The Powwow

Every year on the 4th of July week- end the Northern Utes hold their powwow. This year was the 41st year.I believe my husband and I have been to almost all of them. My husband just has to go get some fry bread so we go every year.It is pretty neat to see. Some of the native dress is beautiful. They have booths selling all kinds of stuff from food to turquoise jewelry. Then at 7:00 every night they have the grand entry where you get to see all of the dancers and their native dress. If you have never seen it, it really is something to see. Their are Indians from all over the country dancing for money. They travel from Powwow to Powwow and its fun to watch the differnt ways of dancing. As long as they have it Im sure we will go. Especially for that fry bread.
