My husband had a weeks vacation coming so he decided to take it and do a few things around the house. He did work on the steps on the deck and then we decided to go to see his Nephew and his wife in Nevada. We left Wednesday morning and spent the night at the Nugget in Wendover.
Here is a picture of the salt flats and the famous tree in the desert.
Of course when we left Wendover we left a little of our money behind. Not much though. Were not very big spenders.
We got to Winnemucca thursday morning about 10:00.We spent the day hitting all of the antique stores and had a great time. Chuck and Becky took us out for Mexican food that was delicious. The next day we hit the yard sales and that night we bar=b=qued. We had a great time and a great visit.This is a picture of Hank and his Nephew Chuck.
We left early Saturday morning and got home about 6:30 that night.

HOW FUN! It's always so much fun to go and get away for a bit! We all need that once in a while! I'm ready for a vacation! We go camping alot, but I am ready for a BIG VACATION! LOL! HONK HONK!
