WATERFALL
We read in the paper about the water going over the stillwater dam so we decided to take a ride and have a look. Hank worked on this dam from start to finish and we have been back up there a few times, but this time it was really something to see. It was really beautiful.

OUR LITTLE HAM
Brandi, Eric, and our Great Grandbaby came down the other day and spent the afternoon with me and stayed for dinner. I hadnt seen our baby for a week or so, so I was happy to have them come down. I cannot tell you how cute and lovable this baby is, and he is becoming quite a ham.Every time I would talk to him he would crinkle up his face and close his eyes and really give me a big smile. We went out on the lawn for a little while and he had fun crawling all over. He is about the cutest baby I ve seen in a long time. Of coarse I am sure every Grandmother feels the same way about their own Grandchild.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
A few years ago when we went from Las Vagas to Albuquerque, we bought some Indian pottery. Hank wanted to get some more so when he had a few days off for Memorial day we decided to go. The only thing was, we couldnt quite remember just where the place was. We knew it was between Flagstaff Arizona and Albuquerque. So we decided to go to Flagstaff and then over to Albuquerque so we wouldnt miss the place. We decided to go a different way this time to see some new country. We went to Hanksville and then down Glen Canyon and then on to Mexican Hat. We saw some really beautiful country,We stopped at this store in Hanksville that is built in the side of the mountain.
Heres a couple of pictures going down the canyon and then when we got to the green river before we crossed the Glen Canyon Bridge.

After we crossed the river we came to this rock called Jacobs Chair, I thought of my Grandson and thought he would get a kick out of it.
Next we came to The Natural Bridges Park and decided to stop. We had to do some walking but saw some beautiful things.

We spent that night in Flagstaff. The next morning we headed east and finally found the place we were looking for, We bought some beautiful pottery.

We went on and stopped at the Route 66 casino to see a car show and then on to Albuquerque where we spent the night. We went to the Sandia Casino for a while. Had a nice dinner, and the next morning we got up early and headed home. It was a fast three days but fun.

A GREAT DAY
a little slow in posting about Mothers Day but I had a great day. I saw both of my kids and all of my Grandkids, so that always makes for a good time. I hadnt seen the boys for a while so I was really glad to have them here. We played with the baby, took pictures, and had hamburgers and chips. I love my family so much and always look forward to them coming down. Our baby is growing so fast that every time I see him he is doing something new. He scoots on his belly and can get anywhere he wants to go.. He kept coming over to his Grandpa to pick him up. He had a big day to. When hes here he doesnt want to sleep so when he finally does let himself go to sleep hes out like a light. Here are a few pictures of the day.

BUSY COUPLE OF WEEKS.
I have been really busy the last couple of weeks, and have been putting off blogging because as things have slowed down I have gotton lazy. In the last two weeks, I have made 4 trips to Salt Lake, 1 trip to Fountain Green, and a trip to Wendover. Of course the first trip to Salt Lake was to the Scrapbook Expo. My friend Penny went with me and you just know we got up at 4:30 am to go get in line. We saved tables because we were going to have 14 in our group. This is my friend Penny.
This is the group of us at dinner at the Olive Garden.
My daughter and her friend came out Friday afternoon after they got off work and met up with us for dinner and then went back to the expo with us.
We were out there Thurs, fri, and came home sat. That Monday my daughter and I went back out to Salt Lake for the day. The following week-end I went to Fountain Green with my Niece to see my Brother and Sister-in-law. They have sold their home and are moving to Arizona. I dont know when we will see them again so we wanted to go spend the week-end with them. Their oldest son and his family came down and we really had a good visit. My brother and sister-in-law took us all for some really good mexican food and then we went back and visited. They are pretty much packed and ready to go.My brother had some hats that he hadnt packed yet so we got a little silly.
My nephew and his wife.
The following Wed. was Sandras birthday, so they got her a cake.
The next week we went to Salt Lake for Doctor appt. on Tues. and again on Friday. After we got through on Friday we went on to Wendover. I had a great time and this time when I played 21 I quit when I was ahead and came home with double the money I went with.
Even though it was so busy, it was very enjoyable.

BLESSING
This last week-end we had our baby blessed. He is the cutest baby and we love him so much. He was all dressed up and his tie was almost bigger than he was but he was styling. His great great Grandparents came out and his other great Grandma was here.Of coarse I wouldnt have missed it for anything. He already has two teeth poking through at four months. Hes going to be an early bloomer. I just cant seem to get enough of this little guy. Sure do love him.

By the time we had our picture taken our baby was getiing really tired of being passed around from person to person because everyone wanted to hold him so he was really getting cranky. He wasnt about to be still any longer.
