BLESSING

This last week-end we had our baby blessed. He is the cutest baby and we love him so much. He was all dressed up and his tie was almost bigger than he was but he was styling. His great great Grandparents came out and his other great Grandma was here.Of coarse I wouldnt have missed it for anything. He already has two teeth poking through at four months. Hes going to be an early bloomer. I just cant seem to get enough of this little guy. Sure do love him.

By the time we had our picture taken our baby was getiing really tired of being passed around from person to person because everyone wanted to hold him so he was really getting cranky. He wasnt about to be still any longer.

SURPRIZE!!!!

I know I posted about my brothers 80th birthday last week, but this last saturday they had a surprize party for him. Of course that would be the day we had a crazy snow storm but there was a pretty good turn out anyway. It was held at the Strata building in Roosevelt. We had dinner and got to visit with family we hadnt seen in a while. His Granddaughter and great Granddaughter flew down from Washington state. It was supposed to be a surprize but he said he had known about it for a week. I guess someone isnt very good at hiding what they are planning. My brother and his cake and blowing out the candles.

My brother and his family. My daughter and his granddaughter and great granddaughter.

Me and my brother. I have no idea why my hand is on his belly.
These next three guys are my sisters boys and their wives.
Both of my kids were there and even my Great Grandbaby came to meet his great uncle Ray.
The only thing missing was our older brother and sister-in-law but we were glad that they didnt try making it in that crazy snow storm. As soon as this miserable winter is over with we will be seeing them.

BIRTHDAY BOY!!!!

Yesterday was my bothers birthday. He was 80 years young. Tonight Hank and I took him and his wife out to dinner to celebrate. We should really do this more often instead of just on his birthday, because we really had a nice time. Even though they just live in Neola we hadnt seem them for a while. It was so good to just visit and laugh and enjoy being together. Not to mention, the food was delicious. He wanted to go to the China Star for Chinese food. They do have very good food, in fact the best chinese food in the basin and they give you enough that you can eat for 2 days. When we left we were stuffed and we all brought enough food home for tomorrow. This is my brother and his wife.
Just look at this plate. Doesnt it look delicious?

PRESIDENTS CLUB

This last week-end we were invited to the Presidents Club Banquet for Big D Construction in Salt Lake at the Little America Hotel. Hank has been a member of the club for the last 12 years. We decided to go so we got a room at Little America and made a week-end of it. At 6:00 was a social hour and then the banqet started at 7:00.The entre was a combination of filet mignon and samon, and I have to say that was the best samon I have ever eaten. After dinner, awards were given out. Hank didnt get an award this year but that was ok. We had a great time and look forward to next year.

FUN SUNDAY

Last Sunday the kids came down for lunch and ended up staying for dinner.Im all for keeping them here for as long as I can. We made Lasagna Rolls for dinner so that was a good enticement to keep them here. Of coarse , you know I enjoyed my Grandkids and especially my Great Grandson. He is at a really cute age where he is starting to smile at you when you talk to him and really wants to answer you back but just cant quite yet. It had been 12 years since we had a little one around so I am going to throughly enjoy it. Here are a few pictures of the day. Of coarse my Grandbaby is in every one of them. What can I say.

CHRISTMAS IS OVER

We had a great Christmas this year although we always do. The kids all came down and spent the day. We started off with the usual big breakfast. Then came the present opening. We all got some great things but I am mostly grateful that we could all be together. Our great grandbaby had a couple of catnaps through out the day, but he hung in there with the rest of us. This is the tree before we started opening presents.
Aiden is only two months old so we were more excited for his presents than he was. Next year he will be alot of fun.
Here are a few other pictures of the day

Aiden was finally so tired so we gave him to the best baby sitter in the house and he got him to sleep.

Its only a couple of days until the new year. Here is hoping it is a wonderful year for everyone.

Thanksgiving Week-end

We had a great Thanksgiving. The kids were here,we had a good dinner, and the day went great.Dinner even seemed easier this year. Maybe it was the new kitchen. lol.The only bad thing is, I shouldnt have made so many pies. Im the one eating them so they dont go to waste. Thats pretty bad. Friday we went in shopping for black friday. Brandi and Eric and of coarse Aiden met Jamie and I for lunch and then we went to Santas Workshop. That night we went and saw Burlesque and it was really good. I could easily see it again. Sunday we were going to go cut our tree, but it was snowing so we decided to wait until this coming week-end. The kids came down later that afternoon for Homemade Turkey noodle soup. That was nice because I got to hug on my new Grandbaby. I am so in love with him.
My son put his hat on so you couldnt see his face. He doesnt like to be put on my blog
