On our trip we really saw some beautiful country. We covered ten states. On our way to the sale we went through Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and then we spent most of our time in Tennesee. Everything was so green and pretty. Grass everywhere. No weeds like we have.On our way home we went through Arkansas, Oklahoma,Texas, New Mexico, and then home. This is the arch that is in Saint Lewis.

Longest Yard Sale In America
I dont know how many of you have heard of the Longest yard sale in America, but we have been hearing about it for a couple of years. Hank got laid off in July and we wanted to go somewhere so we decided to try it out this year. It starts in Gadsden Alabama and goes 647 miles to Hudson Michigan. It only lasts for 4 days so there is no way you can cover it all. We are not big yard salers but thought it would be fun and we could see some new country while doing it. We had planned on going to Gadsden and going north but on our way we stopped at a tourist information center and ran into some people from Kentucky who had done it before and were headed to Crossville Tennesee where they were going to start. We decided to do the same thing. The yard sale is on what they call the I27 Corridor. As we got off on our exit there was a resturant right there so we had breakfast and then started hitting the sales. They were set up all over on both sides of the road.
