Thank goodness it isnt as bad as the back was. I at least got the exercise I wanted..

Our Week-end

Last week-end my niece and I went down to visit my oldest brother and sister-in-law. What a great time we had. My brother is a great story teller so we laughed and giggled quite late into the night. Another niece came over from Nephi with her new baby and stayed for a while. Her baby is absolutly adorable and we were so happy to see her. My sister-in-law is a fantastic cook so we ate alot, talked alot and just had a wonderful time. Sunday morning they took us out to breakfast. As I said my brother is a great story teller and my niece said she learned things about the family she had no idea about. She still likes us so I guess he didnt do any harm. LoL!!! I have been after him for years to write down some of the things he remembers growing up with my sister and other brother in the Hillcreak area of the Bookcliffs. Before we left he gave me a book of short stories about their times on the ranch and I was so happy. I have been reading since I got home and have laughed at some of their escapades and can just pictures the things that they did. It is something that I will treasure forever.

Moving my piano

Since I have my scrapbooking room done and moved the desk into there I decided to bring my piano up from the basement since I now have room for it. My parents bought this piano for me when I was about four years old. We had my sisters piano but when she got married she came and got it. I remember crying because it was gone, so for my birthday thats what I got and started lessons. Its been down in my basement and of course I wouldnt go down there to play. I think with a litle practice it will come back to me. My husband and I moved it ourselves. If you have never moved a piano, you dont know how heavy they are. We had to move it from one end of the basement to the other, out the garage, and in to a trailer. Then up the driveway to the back porch. Then out of the trailer, up a few stairs to the back porch and on into the house. It took us about 3 hours to do this but it was worth it. It looks so nice. I need to get it tuned and them Im going to get back to playing. I wont tell you how long its been since I played it but Im excited to get started.
